The third appointment of cine concerts for the Grand Silent film Festival will be held on Monday, November 22 at 18.00 at AUDITORIUM Guido Martinotti of University of Milan-Bicocca (building U12, Via Vizzola 5, Milano).

In this appointment, the movie “College” (1927) will be presented along with the first-ever execution of the new original music composed ad hoc by Maestro Rossella Spinosa for piano solo.

“College” is the second-to-last independent production of Buster Keaton, who was convinced by his long-time friend and producer Joseph M. Schenk to sell his studios and go under the auspices of M.G.M, that have already started distributing his work. Keaton later admitted that was the worst mistake of his life. This also brought his career to a fast decline. The decline was also due to the advent of sound movies; an event capable of putting into crisis all the comic genre.
