Modalità di accesso a FactSet

Per iniziare a utilizzare la piattaforma FactSet ogni utente deve creare un profilo Factset compilando la scheda di registrazione che si trova qui: https://support.factset.com/academic/#/

  • selezionare il bottone "Student" o "Professor"
  • inserire nel form tutti i dati richiesti: nel campo “University” digitare “Bicocca” e selezionare “Università degli Studi di Milano Bicocca” dal menu a tendina

Entro 24 ore dalla registrazione, verrà inviata una mail di conferma dell'attivazione dell' account con il link di accesso alla banca dati. Prima di effettuare il login è necessario creare la password, cliccando in alto a destra alla voce "Create password for new account".

Con il factset.net ID personale è possibile inoltre scaricare e utilizzare l’App Mobile di FactSet sia per Android (Google Play) che per iOS (App Store).

Le credenziali di accesso sono personali e non devono essere diffuse.

Una volta autenticati è possibile consultare la guida e i tutorial online dedicati a FactSet Web.

L’abbonamento a FactSet Academic Package prevede 2 modalità:

I dati di FactSet sono gli stessi sia tramite FactSet Web che su FactSet Workstation. Con FactSet Workstation i docenti e i ricercatori hanno la possibilità aggiuntiva di utilizzare il FactSet Office Add-in in Excel per lo scarico massivo di dati.

Gli studenti possono accedere alla versione Factset Workstation tramite le postazioni virtuali dedicate (max 4 utenti simultanei).

Per l'accesso è richiesta un'iscrizione, da effettuare almeno 24 ore prima dell’utilizzo, autenticandosi con le credenziali istituzionali al seguente indirizzo: https://libaas.unimib.it/PubLab/register/7816a82f7104aba4a3de

Una volta completata l'iscrizione bisogna cliccare su https://vdi-libaas.si.unimib.it scegliere il collegamento a destra "VMware Horizon HTML Access" accedere con le credenziali istituzionali.

How to access Factset

To start using the FactSet platform, each user must create a Factset profile by filling in the registration form here: https://support.factset.com/academic/#/
 

  • select the "Student"or "Professor" button
  • enter all the required data in the form: in the "University" field type "Bicocca" and select "Università degli Studi di Milano Bicocca" from the drop-down menu. 

Within 24 hours an email confirming the activation of the account will be sent with the link to access the database. Before logging in, you must create the password by clicking on "Create password for new account" at the top right.

After the registration, you can use this link to access FactSet web using your institutional credentials. It is recommended to bookmark the link on your web browser.

With the personal factset.net ID it is also possible to download and use the FactSet App Mobile both for Android (Google Pay) and for iOS (App Store).

Access credentials are personal and must not be shared.

Once logged you can check the guide and the online tutorials provided by FactSet Web.

The library subscribes to the FactSet Academic Package which can be consulted in 2 ways:
 

The FactSet data are the same, whether through FactSet Web or FactSet Workstation.

With FactSet Workstation professors and researchers have the additional opportunity to use the FactSet Office Add-in for Excel for massive data download.

Students can access the Factset Workstation version via dedicated virtual workstations (max. 4 simultaneous users).
