Users have a total of 600 seats available for consulting Library resources:

• 466 + 20 carrels at the Central Library
• 114 at the Medicine Library

To be certain to find a seat, we strongly recommend booking through the Affluences app.
Patrons with a reservation are entitled to their chosen seat, so whoever is using it without a reservation must leave it.

Patrons must confirm their presence by scanning the QR code at the entrance through the  Affluences App, whithin an hour from the starting time of their reservation (i.e. if the reservation starts at 9 a.m., you must scan the code before 10).

Failure to do so will cancel the reservation and free the seat for another user.

Users have access to individual study spaces (carrels) at the Central Library.

Carrels are available from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 a.m. until 7.30 p.m.

Booking is mandatory, through the Affluences app; carrels are for the exclusive use of the University of Milan-Bicocca's institutional users, so an @unimib.it or @campus.unimib.it webmail address is needed for reservation.

Carrels are for individual use, and for study and research purposes only; therefore, users are not allowed to have guests, or to lend their carrels to individuals who have not made a reservation.

In order to make carrels accessible to all our patrons, you can reserve this kind of study space for a maximum of 30 hours in a week.
