The photographic exhibition named “Terzo Paesaggio”, (Third Landscape) is the result of a collaboration with Gruppo Fotoamatori Saronnesi and will be displayed on Central Library (University of Milan- Bicocca, piazza dell’Ateneo Nuovo,1- Milano, building U6 Agorà, 2nd floor) starting October 4 till the 30th.
Inspired by the first book on the topic translated in Italian, “Manifesto del Terzo paesaggio” (Third Landscape Manifesto) written by one of the most famous European landscapers, Gilles Clément.
In this book, the author indicates with the expression “Third Landscape” all those places abbandoned by men: spaces that differ by shape, dimension, and statute but share the absence of human activity and when taken all together are vital to preserving biodiversity; this concept inspired seven authors belonging to Gruppo Fotoamatori Saronnesi.
