Music and Villa Reale between ‘700 and ‘800

The University of Milan-Bicocca Orquestra will perform a concert on Sunday, April 24 at 20.30 at Villa Reale di Monza (viale Brianza 1, Monza).

The program proposes three compositions that according to the era and the historical context, are a  sort of a musical visit to the Villa Reale of Monza from the Asburgic era, at the end of the 700, when it was projected and built till the Napoleonic era, at the beginning of ‘800, with its enrichment and completion:

  • Wolfgang Amadeus MOZART OUVERTURE FROM THE OPERA K588 COSÌ FAN TUTTE (Wien 1790)
  • Wolfgang Amadeus MOZART CONCERTING SYMPHONY K364 FOR violin, viola, and orchestra (Salzburg 1779)
  • Ludwig van BEETHOVEN CONCERTO N. 5 Op.73 for piano and orchestra ‘Emperor’ (Vienna 1809)
