The service is open to all those who need to use the holdings of the Library.

Only the access to electronic resources could be limited to internal users and to users from University of Milano-Bicocca partner institutions, when included in the specific agreements.

You can consult library material (books, journals, electronic resources, e-books, audiovisual material, CD-ROMs, DVDs etc.) and the electronic catalogue (OPAC), and use the terminals in the reading rooms for bibliographic research.

After consulting books and journals, please remember to leave them in the trolleys provided and NOT on the shelves; only library staff is allowed to place material back in the shelves... A misplaced book is a lost book!

Doctoral theses discussed before 2010 are also available for consultation. From 2010 on, doctoral theses are available in BOA (Bicocca Open Archive). We recommend searching the online catalogue (OPAC) with the keyword "tesi di dottorato", followed by the supervisor's surname and a title keyword. Doctoral theses are available for consultation at the Sede di Scienze (building U2): you must make an appointment by writing to bibsci@unimib.it.

Degree theses are currently not available for consultation.
