The University Library offers the following services:
During the Library's opening hours consultation, external loan, inter-library loan, document delivery and reproductions are available. For the reference service it might be necessary to get an appointment at the Loans Desk of each library; for the carrel service, available only in the Central Library, you must make a reservation at the Loans Desk.
Internal users, i. e. users belonging to the University of Milano-Bicocca (students, professors, technical-administrative staff, collaborators etc.), are entitled to all the services provided and can also use the premises to study their own material. The latter is forbidden to users from University of Milano-Bicocca partner institutions (Università degli Studi di Milano, Università degli Studi dell'Insubria, Ospedale S. Gerardo, CESI, CNR, INFN) and to external users.
External users can consult library material and obtain reproductions, but they cannot borrow unless they show a guarantee signed by a professor of the University of Milano-Bicocca.
